Steven V. Wise, Founder & President

Steven started in health insurance sales over 16 years ago. He has worked for major carriers such as Prudential, Mega Life and Health, National Health Insurance and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Steven saw the changes coming in the health insurance industry and decided he could better serve his customers by becoming an independent broker. This enabled him to offer more carrier choices to his customers as well as other beneficial services.

Now, as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Atlantis Marketing Solutions and a Professional Member of the AAWV, Steven educates families of veterans and other Professional Members on The Improved Pension with Aid and Attendance Benefit. He finds it extremely rewarding to be able to get to know these heroes and their spouses who have given of themselves to protect our country.

He has a Bachelors of Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration from Ohio University.

Rhonda L. Wise, Co-Founder and Vice President

Rhonda has worked in the Insurance industry for over 13 years along the side of her husband Steven. She represents the top rated carriers Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Medical Mutual of Ohio, Aetna, Humana and Paramount to name a few. Specializing in the Individual market allows her to be an "expert" on guiding customers who are purchasing health insurance for themselves and/or their families. She strives to fit the plan to the right needs of those customers, along with making sure it is affordable.

Jim Greer, Financial Agent

Jim Greer has been helping people achieve their financial goals since 1988. As a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, he endeavors to make sure his clients reach their goals without taking unnecessary risk. Jim believes in using wise investment strategies rather than chasing risky "hot" investments. He tells his clients that investing should not be like "gambling", rather, investing is applying sound principles and strategies to help each client achieve their unique desires. Jim's goal is to earn each client's respect with commitment, integrity and hard work.

Joshua S. Wise, Benefit Consultant

Joshua is Steven's oldest son and he joined Beacon in 2010 as our Columbus area AAWV representative. He is currently pursuing a Business Degree at Ohio University and has a Civil Engineering background that he learned during his eight year tour in the United States Air Force. Also during this time, he spent extensive tours in the Middle East and throughout the United States.

Joshua feels that due to his military background and personal experience navigating the VA pension system, he can truly relate to the veterans and their surviving spouses that he assists.

He is married with two children in college.

Alicia Enright, Community Liason

Alicia joined Beacon Associates February of 2010. As our AAWV Community Liaison in charge of Marketing and Public Relations she partners with our Veteran 1st Assisted Living Communities educating residents on the Aid & Attendance Veteran's Pension. As the assistant to Steven V. Wise & Jim Greer she also supports and works directly with our clients guiding them through the Aid & Attendance Application Process. Prior to joining our team she was in Management & Sales Training for 20 years with the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation in Ohio, Pennsylvania and North Carolina and spent 2 years as an Associate Director with Corporate Executive Board in Washington, DC and RYLA Corporation in Atlanta, GA.

Doris Shaw, Receptionist

Doris has extensive telemarketing experience beginning with Olan Mills for 10 years. After her first year there, she was promoted to manager of several stores in the area. She then worked at Moto Photo for 11 years setting appointments and selling at all the stores. Her duties include telephone marketing, assistant and scheduling appointments.
