My Dad was eager to find different insurance coverage to better meet his health needs. He had a plan that required a referral be made to each doctor, specialist or hospital to ensure all participants were part of that specific network. A very arduous task when your loved one is sick or injured.

When my Dad approached me about this insurance issue, I frankly thought that it would be a fairly easy matter to research and resolve. So I began this process only to find out that there were so many different options and alternatives. I made over 40 phone calls and visited numerous websites. The more research I did, the more confused and frustrated I became. I told my Dad that I knew he needed to make an insurance change but I couldn't begin to help him make this important decision.

My Dad contacted his Financial Planner in a desperate attempt to ask if he knew anyone that was an expert in the insurance area as it applied to Senior Citizens. He suggested that we contact Julie Fullerton at Beacon Associates. The timing of this referral was made on Dec. 27, 2010 and I knew that if he was to make an insurance change that open enrollment had a deadline of Dec. 31, 2010.

I told my Dad there was no way possible that we had enough time to hook up with Julie in an effort to complete this research, make our decision and get the paperwork done and submitted by the year-end deadline. In summary, I videw this challenge as an Impossible Task!!!

In working with Julie in this short timeframe, I was miraculously surprised how knowledgeable, professional, helpful and caring she was in working with me and my Dad. Somehow, someway Julie guided us through these very complex, confusing issues. We were able to make this insurance change by the deadline. Let me profoundly state that without Julie, this could and would not have happened.

Julie provides such a valuable service in working with Senior Citizens and their insurance needs. I would recommend her without reservation and hesitation. My Dad feels so good and reassured about his decision and the insurance changes we made. Giving him this piece of mind is worth all the effort.
